Can you believe it’s that time of year again, friends? San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner, and I’d love to see you there!

Exciting, secret news: we’ll be selling the first-ever finished copies of Wonder Women right there at Quirk Books booth 1636. Even though it’s not out until October 18th! I know!

Thursday, July 21

4-5pm: Retellings and Remixes

I’m moderating this panel, featuring Marissa Meyer (The Lunar Chronicles, Heartless), Renee Ahdieh (The Rose and the Dagger), Colleen Houck (Recreated), Anna Todd (Imagines), Jodi Meadows (My Lady Jane), and Colleen Oakes (Queen of Hearts)!

Friday, July 22

12-1pm: The Secret Loves of Geek Girls signing

Come say hi to me, Hope Nicholson, Katie West, and Jen Aprahamian as we sign the brand-new Dark Horse edition of The Secret Loves of Geek Girls, not out until October!

630-730pm: Fangirls Lead the Way: She Made Me Do It

Join me, Jamie Broadnax (Black Girl Nerds), Rose Del Vecchio (Fanmail), and Constance Gibbs (Black Girls Nerds) and moderator Ed Catto as we chat about the impact that lady fans have on the current comics industry and more.

Andrea Letamendi (Pop Culture Hero Association), Jamie Broadax (Black Girl Nerds), Kristin Rielly (Geek Girls Network), Suzanne Scott (UT-Austin), Marie Poole (Lone Shark Games), and moderator Jennifer K. Stuller (GeekGirlCon, Ink-Stained Amazon) and I will be talking about the progress we’ve seen for gals in geek culture in the last six years.

3-4pm: Signing at the Nerdist Conival

No Comic-Con badge? No problem! I’m going to be doing a signing at the Nerdist signing booth at their wicked-awesome Conival in Petco Park. Yay!

530-630pm: Fangirling Live!
Nerdist Conival, Petco Park, Main Stage
I’m lucky enough to be guest co-hosting a live episode of Fangirling, with Nerdist EIC Rachel Heine and Managing Editor Alicia Lutes! Swing by the Conival Main Stage to hear us fangirl out over the best parts of SDCC, and what we’re looking forward to on the final day of the show.

So that’s it! Remember to wear comfy shoes, bring lots of energy-packed snacks and water bottles, and please don’t forget your sunscreen. See you there!
